Clyde Quay Boat Harbour
Clyde Quay Boat Harbour was established in 1905 adjacent to the city centre. Virtually unchanged it is very picturesque with iconic boat sheds and 72 boats on fore and aft moorings. Also home to the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club and sailing academy. There are no visitor facilities, however these are available at the nearby Chaffers and Evans Bay Marinas.
Evans Bay Marina
Evans Bay Marina has 141 fixed Marina berths, situated at the south end of Evans Bay in Wellington’s main harbour. Readily accessible from Wellington’s central, southern and eastern suburbs. The marina has ample carparking and is a short taxi ride from the airport. The nearby Evans Bay Yacht & Motor Boat Club operates a slipway and hardstand. (04 939 4172)
