Catering for predominantly recreational vessels, Whangamata Marina is New Zealand’s newest marina. Situated inside the Whangamata Harbour, in a very sheltered and secure location, the marina provides unparalleled access to wonderful offshore gamefishing and recreational fishing and cruising grounds triangulated by Mayor Island, The Alderman Islands and Slipper Island to the North.
The marina is protected by a solid rock breakwater on three sides, and has berths designed with the following features: full length fingers; two intermediate piles; generous fairways; power and water supply with individual power modules and there is ample car parking available to berth owners and visitors. We have a friendly, professional management team at the Marina Office, providing information, maintenance and security services to the berths and marina facilities. All enquiries are welcome.
