Tutukaka Marina is ideally situated halfway between Auckland and the Bay of Islands. This “oasis” has excellent onshore facilities, licensed and BYO restaurants, the Deep Sea Anglers Club, 24hr fuel jetty, ice, dive fills, local dairy and trailer boat ramp and park.
Diving at the Poor Knights and on two ex navy ships purpose sunk for diving, is spectacular. Boats are in “marlin” water 30mins from the marina and snapper and kingfish abound.
There is a daily shuttle service to Whangarei, a wide choice of accommodation in the area and a selection of great beaches. Stunning coastal walks complete this beautiful safe haven.
