Napier’s Inner Harbour is situated in Ahuriri. The majority of berths are used for commercial fishing but some berths are available for pleasure craft, yachts and launches. We have four areas for vessels: West Quay (mainly for commercial fishing vessels although some casual availability for larger yachts 16m+), Iron Pot with a floating jetty and two finger jetties on Meeanee Quay at Westshore.
Ahuriri is currently undergoing development and like many former industrial waterfront locations has become a focus for visitors and tourists with bars, restaurants and apartments now occupying the old woolstores.
Two public toilets are located nearby the Napier Sailing Club and HB Sports Fishing Club. Although showers are not available at the Napier Marina they can be accessed at Napier Sailing Club.
